amazon.com/mytv is Amazon’s device registration page. When you open the Prime Video app on a smart TV, streaming stick or game console, it shows a short activation code — entering that code at amazon.com/mytv links the device to your Amazon account so you can start watching.

How to activate Prime Video on your TV

1. Turn on your TV or streaming device and open the Prime Video app.
2. Choose Sign in & start watching (or “Register on the Amazon website”). A 5–6 character activation code appears on screen.
3. On your phone or computer, go to amazon.com/mytv and sign in to your Amazon account.
4. Enter the activation code exactly as shown on your TV and select Register device.
5. Your TV screen refreshes within a few seconds — you’re signed in and ready to watch.

Common activation problems (and fixes)

• Code not accepted — codes expire quickly. Go back a step on the TV to generate a fresh code and enter it right away.
• Stuck on the loading screen — check the device’s internet connection, then close and reopen the Prime Video app.
• Wrong account linked — sign out of Prime Video on the device, then repeat activation with the correct Amazon login.
• No Prime Video app on your TV — update your TV’s software or install the app from your device’s app store first.
